Jordan's Jungle was founded in 2005 with the mission to bring smiles to hospitalized pediatric patients.   Jordan Tarr, at the age of 10, was spurred to action after a religious school discussion about volunteering.  Soon after, Jordan and his Dad volunteered to help a back to school event for under-privileged children.  Jordan was so taken with the appreciation of these children that he wanted to do more.  Unfortunately there are limited opportunities for children of that age.  That's when he decided to do something on his own....and Jordan's Jungle was born.

Jordan's first efforts to help resulted in over 500 individual items being donated to area hospitals.  His committment to continue resulted in the official formation of Jordan's Jungle Inc., a non-profit corporation.

Hospital donations rise at holiday times and are limited during the rest of the year.  Jordan's Jungle is committed to service through out the year because "Kids aren't sick just at the Holidays"!!
